also agree that awarding gov't contracts based on "affirmative action" is an outrage and should be illegal Just recently there was a big scandal in San Francisco when it was revealed that this black women in charge of handing out contracts to minorities was scamming and handing out contracts to sham minority firms (owned by whites). Blacks in politics have not shown themselves to be that interested in helping other blacks but have shown themselves to be very self interested. I will admit thought that Willie Brown seems to be a little more concerned about helping his community and I applaud him for it.
