Ah..spirit you know as well as I do that Gore, if elected(pray-tell) won't be able to do squat with your beloved environment....all of his programs will be trashed since one, he never believed in any of 'em and two, he'll never get them by a pissed off congress doc

And by the way ever heard of MTBE ? That is a DEMOCRAT FORCED DOWN OUR THROAT pollutant. Three years ago I attended a rally to protest MTBE. MTBE poses a greater threat to the environment than DDT ever did. At that rally not one liberal showed up. The Sierra club was invited but were to busy walking hand in hand with the oil lobbyists. Go read the pumps now. You know what the media said what a bunch of right wing kooks there is nothing wrong with MTBE. Oh yeah now there just beginning to find out as people are dying of the poison and the wells and waters of the nation are contaminated with MTBE. And that my leftist friend is a pollutant that was forced on us through the fanatical environmentalists who use junk science. That is why the founder of GreenPeace has left them and calls them political hacks in search of power not environmentalists.

American Spirit, Do you drive a car? If so, you are a polluter. And support big oil. Do you live in a house that has carpet or any plastics or plywood used in its construction? If so, you support the chemical companies. If you are a real enviromentalist and not just a political hack. You would do what you preach. Ride a horse and live in a cave. But I suspect you are a city enviromentalist. A person who pollutes in his own life,in his own city. But wants all the OTHER lands left in wilderness condition. So when he goes on a vacation. He can enjoy the land in other states at no cost to him. Drill for oil on federal land? Shutter the thought. I want that land wilderness when I go there. I don`t care who has to pay for it.
