Tony - apologies for the"late hit" - I was on vacation last week and just got caught out.

Here's the deal on the IDC numbers. IDC measures "volume servers" and Intel-based machines up to 4 processor go into that category. The class that Sun products fall into has only 8-way and larger Intel-based machines. I suppose I could believe that those big Intel boxes did not grow as fast as the smaller machines in Europe, I guess - although CPQ's sales of that class of machine, which represent nearly 80% of the market, are growing overall faster than their lower-end machines.
