Tech-oriented mutual funds are on pace to finish the year in the red for the first time since the summer Olympics were held in Los Angeles There was also a very furious rally in this sector last year between Thanksgiving and the the end of the year. While my portfolio showed modest gains all year.(+ or - 10% depending what month) December came up with a 40% gain. Interesting because I was gone for most of the month and didn't get a chance to mess with my holdings or do any short term trading. (B.G.) I hope for a repest this year. Regards, Jerome
