Wow! Lets see Bush wants to execute murderers and spare the life of innocent children. Gore on the other hand wants to execute innocent children on a whim and spare the lives of detestable guilty murderers. This would make you sleep better? Your joking right? Thou shall not murder applies to the unwarranted, taking of an innocent life, not the just punishment of those who murder others. Governmental experience, and the fact that G.B. seems to be a lightweight, aside, any man who would stand by and countenance the slaughter of children for the sake of political expediency and power does not deserve to lead. He deserves our pity and our prayers for his salvation. Perhaps it is we who deserve him? Molech would be proud of us. God forgive us for the hardness of our hearts. Greg

James, I am a life long Democrat (big surprise, I know)and I obviously agree with a large part of your post. I think both the Dems and Repubs have handled themselves extremely poorly over the past few weeks. It's embarrassing. I think they shold just recount the whole state, include all the military votes, and let the best man win, with no crying allowed from the loser. It's time to get this behind us, and for the country to move forward as a whole. Let's just do it fairly, and with the realization that no matter who wins, that person will most likely be a one-term president and will probably not have the majority of Congress in two years. Mark

James, If you have supported Clinton in the past, and support Gore now, then you have been, and are, supporting immorality, sexual promiscuity, homosexuality, rape, abortion, falsehoods, and contempt for the law of the land. Can you really such a thing and continue to profess to be a Christian?? The new, and more accurate, translation of the Bible corrects the commandment to "You will not murder". This makes sense, because the commandments were given to Moses by God in Exodus, and in Leviticus, God gives him a list of people to kill, so "Thou Shalt not kill" becomes ambiguous. It is well known that the KJV has a number of translation errors, and the language used is no more "biblical" than any other. It was merely the language of the day of James II, and it is no more "correct" to quote scripture in that language than in any other from any other time period. After all, the ancient Bible was written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. Executions, as punishment for certain crimes, including premeditated murder, is acceptable according to the Bible. Carla Faye Tucker was NOT a born again Christian. She was nothing more than a murderer, and accomplished actress, that fooled a number of people into thinking she was a Christian, and it appears that you are one of the gullible ones. You also seem to have purposely omitted the fact that Tucker was sentenced to death during the administration of a Governor other than Bush but, as most liberals, which you are showing yourself to be, you are trying to lay every problem in the world at his feet, including the latest volcanic eruption. It just don't wash, Jimmy boy!! ~H~ BTW, I am not home in Texas right now, so if you respond, it may be quite some time before I can get back to you.

I just dropped in to see if anything has changed here, and I see it has not. Abortion is murder. We allow government to have laws that murderers are to be tried and punished. But you are worried too much about your privacy, so you agree with choice?? Fruit does not fall far from the tree. clinton/gore's rotten tree was and is full of dead fruit that is falling even now. Adios good riddance to the most corrupt bunch in history. How many more children will die and how much longer will your convenient christianity AGREE with it? Is your fruit under their dead tree? I voted for GWB on one premise only. I pray for him to outlaw partial birth abortion. your clinton has extended the killing or children twice by vetoing the bill. Bush will sign it into law when it comes back around. The rest I will leave in God's hands. If He wants to take the economy into the pit, then His will be done. Whom will you serve?
