energyplay, Which is why these power stocks are sporting multiples like INTC now too- just excellent growth prospects.

On the costs of producing nuclear power- I think that I said "fully depreciated" nuclear power plants. Once those stranded costs are accounted for in the deregulation process, most nuclear plants should produce power for under 1 1/2 cents/kilowatt hour..very inexpensively....

So one investment idea is to look at power stocks that have a nuclear companent in the generation mix and which have stranded costs accounted for in the deregulation process, and finally which sit adjacent to or in NERC reliability areas that have shrinking reserve power margins....Just thinking out loud here....
