Zeev just for reference.

When do you have a NEW "bear market", vs. just a steep market correction... When the Dow 30 breaks below the previous years low it is then a BEAR market.

Since THIS Bull market started in 1982 the Dow 30 has never broken below the low of the previous year. The lowest trades for DOW 30 in 1999 was on 22-Jan-99 Open 9149.50 High 9289.30 Low 8998.90 close 9120.70

Dear Zeev: Wow, thats pretty drastic? Are you not giving any credit for the Fed likely lowering rates and possibly pumping some more liquidity into the market? JDN
