I hear you, It's amazed me for the past 4 years too, when it became so obvious the kind of people we've elected.

The abuse of power from the Executive branch in the past 7 years has been mind boggling. I never imagined an administration could pull into their fold so many people, from so many divergent agencies, and use the power we entrust them with against our very own citizens.

Sure, politics can get a bit nasty at times, but Clinton/Gore have raised the nastiness and outright corruption, to heights never seen in my lifetime.

The wheel has turned, and thank God we have a candidate willing to stay the course and see it through to the bitter end, no matter how difficult it may get. Gore/Clinton and his cronies simply must go if we are going to save our nation from feudalistic divisiveness.

4 or 8 more years of pitting one group of Americans against another, and spinning lie after lie for political purposes would leave too many of our brightest citizens completely uninvolved in politics because of deep cynicism.

During this time of "urgency to change", perhaps all this is for a good and noble purpose. Maybe it took an event like this for the sleeping giant voter to awaken, and realize that our nation must be continuously renewed by involved citizens, if we are to appreciate our liberty and freedom to prosper.

Thus far, at every turn of events, where it seemed Al Gore would be sitting sanctimoniously at the mantle of power, providence has stepped in and tossed him a curve ball. Is this all just a coincidence?

Perhaps, but perhaps not.
