Dear Michael M: Living here in Palm Beach County as I do I have been carefully watching this elections canvassing board. Initially I admit I was very suspicious. But to be honest, I am impressed by Judge Burton. I truly believe he is trying to conduct this vote recount in an impartial way, which is all I ask of anyone there. Unfortunately, he is hampered by Carol Roberts who is OBVIOUSLY PARTISAN and even ADMITS IT, and the other one (Laporte or something) who seems to be so terrified and "out of it" now that I question her ability to even think straight anymore. One thing I LEARNED from all of this is to pay attention to who is running for the board, need people of strong character and will. JDN
