Hi cow and PMS,

Well, that was a short troubleshooting session this AM. I went to the Google sites cow suggested. I thought I had every other program shut down but the System Resources suggested something was using some which may have been enough to affect the DVD.

I did a simple reboot, checked for wayward programs and restarted the DVD. I am now enjoying Pavorotti without any jittery video or popping audio.

I guess the DVD player needs a lot of resources to be able to handle the high graphics necessary for full motion video and CD quality audio at the same time.

Thanks all for the help. DS
