If the US Supreme Court finds that the Florida Supreme Court violated 3 USC 5, then Sec. Harris has the right to exclude the amended returns. The Florida Supreme Court did not find that she abused her discretion. The more I think about it, the more I think that if I were standing in her shoes, I simply would not certify the election until the U.S. Supreme Court rules.

I agree completely. The only thing I might have done differently in Ms Harris' shoes was to recuse myself from the decision process by delegation of authority [if it were legally possible]. If only to eliminate any appearance of bias.

Best Regards and hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving,

P.S. When Thursday AM, my wife asked me to stay off the net for a couple of days for family, etc..., I could tell by the look in her eyes, it was best to honor that request. No appeal process to a higher court was available. [Shhh...she's drying her hair now <s>]
