"I've been tooned since AMD was at 48.50"

Not so very long ago either...The market is fickle and has wildly miscalculated any AMD woes in taking AMD from its July high of $48.50 to its current $20 level despite the fact that AMD has in the interim, once again posted yet another quarter of record revenues and earnings...At some point, the market will atone for the error of its ways, and don't be surprised by a swift AMD price ascent when that occurs...Don't know what event will kickstart AMD's price ascent, but if I had to guess, I'd say market availability of the 1.2 gig Athy/DDR new standard of computing excellence might precipitate a stampede of investment into AMD...(I haven't ruled out the possibility of takeover either which possibility increases every day that AMD remains below $50)...

What I'm saying frank is that $48.50 in July was easily justified based upon AMD's production and financial performance at that time...The steep price decline since that time has occurred during a period of general market concerns and general negative market sentiment but AMD's level of production and financial performance, contrary to what you may read into its price descent, has actually improved during this interval...AMD, plain and simple, is stronger now than when it was at $48.50 in July...For this reason, it won't take long, once the inevitable rush for AMD shares begins precipitated by some currently "unknown" event for AMD to once again test $48.50...I'm only half kidding when I say that based upon AMD's current fundamentals, relative to other tech stocks, a price of $120 can be reasonably rationalised much more readily than can $20...

I, for one, will not be surprised by an AMD upward price explosion within the next 2 months...but for now, let's just get a close above $21-1/4 which sets the stage for a test of $24-3/4!!!
