It appears that MSNBC has removed that hateful inflammatory piece. Too bad, it was a rare moment of candor.

It's certainly understandable that Begala would try and disavow the statement somehow. However, he DID NOT disavow saying it, and no matter in WHAT context it is placed, it is ugly, vicious, polarizing and insulting.

I have a hard copy of a fuller description of the context that I have at work that I will try and communicate to you next week if you like.

I would bet that the article was pulled pretty quickly (the media does that sometimes).

But folks were able to copy it quick enough that Begala was unable to deny that he said it.

Personally, the rest of the article could have consisted of nothing but praise for Bush and it wouldn't have nullified the inflammatory impact of that one paragraph.

It was utterly uncalled for, IMO. Especially from someone who has held such high positions within the Clinton administration.

And it shows the contempt that Clinton/Gore supporters have for anyone who doesn't support them. It's a "us vs them" mentality that divides, instead of unites.

Regards,

Ron

This is opinion only of senile old batman:

The man runs like a girl -- a sissy girl at that. Can you imagine any military man or woman being able to serve under this team of "empty-shell sissy" and "gnome-like sissy"? You are right, I fear, about a real "civil" chaos if this election is stolen by crooked lawyers. The old Soviet leaders always said America would crumble from within, and they (USSR) would not have to fire a shot. Could we be seeing it happen?
