<ot>Hi Carl - On NewsHour last night, Mr Mark Shield has claimed someone got roughed up [my wording, maybe Geller, I am not sure about his reference,] and the fact that Mr Paul Gogol has made a spin that it was anecdotal, so it seems to me, that this is an admission by way of weak rebuttal --- that there were incidents. So, I think the retort of Jesse Jackson's activities is not truly one-to-one. At least, JJ didn't try to disrupt county officials [obviously, that was self-serving.] If storming the room is a sit-in, that should make the likes of Angela Davis look like a punch of peaceniks <VBG>, isn't it?

I agree with you, the tic-for-tac [I am not a one-sider, I certainly acknowledge the possibility that there were dems orchestrating something behind the scene, if not o so transparent] is getting unseemly. However, I disagree with you with regard to USSC's involvement. I don't think it will make specific mandate, but I think it will clarify the voting law(s) as far as the constitution is concerned, such as primacy etc. I also think the conservatives will benefit more, however narrow the ruling may be, considering the composition of the court. Just a guess though, time will tell.

best, Bosco

<ot>Hi Carl - evidently, the protesters have anticipated the accusation by saying

“Because someone paid for my hotel room, because
someone paid for my plane ticket, I’m a thug?” asked Terry
Benham, a Little Rock, Ark., lobbyist. Another sign in the
crowd read: “We are not from Rent-A-Mob.”

but I couldn't find anything to collaborate on Mr Mark Shield's case except the Geller case.
