Barnabus - I see Clinton's presidency as a "wake up" call to America to take a closer look at the candidates' conviction to God's Word. In Daniel 4 (sorry, typo on 5) King Neb. continually IGNORES GOD'S WARNINGS & credits the building of his empire as having come about by his own power. God is fed up, tosses King Neb. out, having made it clear to him in v.23 that the Most High God dominates the kingdoms of men, and gives power to anyone HE chooses. King Neb's senses are returned to him as he finally honors God realizing that he is nothing compared to God. If this lesson is broken down into families, how much more devastation shall we see as people ignore God and "do it their way" and how few endings of restoration will come to pass like in King Neb's case?
