Why not give them both a chance ..

Liebermann can go back to being Senator from Ct ..
Cheney shouldn't be in elective office at all ..

So that leaves us with Gore/Bush for two years
and then Bush/Gore for two years .. Let them
each have two years as president and two years
as vice-president ..

Much of what we are seeing is media manufactured frenzy. The media is in heaven, ratings are the highest they have ever been. I saw several talk show hosts saying this is the best thing to ever happen to them. Would Jesse Jackson be in Florida if there were no cameras? Would there have been the "RIOT" without cameras in the room? Would we even be in this mess if CNN had not called Florida early? I'm beginning to feel manipulated by both sides for ratings. Has a simple recount been turned into circus due to a thirst for ratings and an American fixation on spin? I'm all for the first amendment, but I would like to see the media refrain from creating "news" to report it. Regards

I can better your suggestion: it's time for both campaigns to renounce their interests in the presidency for the good of the country.

How pathetic! As I stated, you'll take any thought and put
a negative spin on it for Bush. Both campaigns? HOW PATHETIC! Bush IS the winner. Very hard for democrat to
accept, so what do they say? Both parties should concede.
No, Gore should concede, and not only based on losing the
election, but by the fact he is acting like a spoiled child
Hitler Jr. wannabe. Every country is surprised that
Americans aren't rioting in the streets by now. Truth here
many are giving the government the chance to do the right
thing and declare Bush the winner. Bush IS the legit winner. And what does Gore say? He says he wont concede
even if Bush is declared winner. Sounds like a national
security risk. A loose cannon running around. Gore isn't fit to lead garbage pickup.

I can better your suggestion: it's time for both campaigns to renounce their interests in the presidency for the good of the country. Let the Speaker of the House run the country as the house-keeper president for the next 4 years. The federal government should use the next four years to set in place a better voting system to handle tight election. We can't rely on the probability of someone winning by a margin bigger than the margin of error.

I agree that there is a great need for election reform. However, I also believe that the elections should be managed at the state level (except in Illinois). :=)

Anything else I believe would be in violation of the US Constitution.

The speaker is not a Constitutional government.
