Actually, I went and read it and it refers to Weinberg (LOL) and this particular essay. Now, blandness...........pleeze do me the honor and take more than a first glance. Whatever emotions are involved this is one of the most powerful intelligences, a Nobel prize winning physicist, and it is always interesting to see what such an intelligence says. BTW this was a transcript of a speech given at a meeting about religion and science sponsored by Templeton Fndn. So the ghosts he was swinging at were actually the subject of the conference. Beyond that, It is what we live within us within sight or view of no one but ourselves and the eternity or nothingness we must finally partake of. Totally true. What lives within me is a variety of experience, and some of it is actually what I read, the ideas of others. More of it is what I viscerally experience but sometimes a novel idea is that visceral.
