hi ed

the fact that langa has a series on memory, comprised of parts and steps and tweaks and message boards and on and on, is a testimonial to the complexity of the subject.

i think i may have done a lot towards resolving memory leakage the day i installed win2000. and in an effort to get it running at optimum, i have been experimenting with various w2k tweaks, including having just expanded the swap file size to 6x the ram, and making the initial size=the maximum. when i increase ram to 265mb, i plan to reset the swap file to about 4x the ram. i also want to put the swap file on its own partition, and will probably do that real soon.

did you read thru langa's entire series on memory?

what are your thoughts about adding more ram to enhance performance?

:)
