i thought like you it took 5 votes for the reason you give. the ny times said differently the florida courts have been extremely political and very much biased toward gore and did not follow law, facts or reason. therefore, a less biased court is better for bush. the democrats are seeking to manufacture votes. they are counting votes-but the voter hasn't power - the democratic canvassers are being given thousands of votes. they should have one vote only. i am also a democrat. i am very disappointed in how the democrats have supported clinton and now gore. clinton delayed, lied, obstructed. the dems in a partisan fashion supported him and attacked those who pointed out what he was doing. if i were black, i would be unhappy in how the blacks supported oj.
