I haven't gone anywhere, Tom (part 2)

This Porch is a center of very interesting intellectual activity, Tom. But I think its various members need to be a little more open-minded. I understand that I, too, can be accused of narrowmindedness. Not that anyone has done so openly here.

Avoidance of rigid thinking is very important to me. It got a number of us, including me, stuck in Qualcomm too long this year, for example. Being flexible and openminded is crucial for "rolling with the punches."

Is being liberal or conservative rigid? No! I simply think that the Porch consensus for Bush is misguided. Regardless, I enjoy being a welcome participant on this Porch despite my political persuasions. It brings a needed balance to it.

I will continue to observe stock ideas here, even though QCOM, JDSU, and RMBS have betrayed me. But tomorrow is another day. Tom, and time is left on all of the options I currently hold. I'm quite confident now, though, that my QCOM Jan 175's will stay well out of the money to expiration date.

Hi John,

Chameleon no better illustrated than Bonnie one day and John another.

As for the Porch. The troubles as you call them should have manifested a lot earlier and we would have been a lot better off. Much better since we thinned the wood out.

But like you say, we can differ. Just no place for the Bonnie Rose of Texas.

Keep all three stocks and you'll be a happy camper,
