chalu2 look at the facts. As Palm is currently applying what I consider to be a reasonable method of looking at questionable ballots, After weeks we have a difference in the result of 7 votes. It seems that in Palm county where 11000 ballot did not get counted there are no vote as a result of the manual recount. In Broward using a totally partisan scratch test votes are turning for Sore. The machine recount was accurate and Broward is fudging to mine ballots into illegal votes for Sore. All counties had years to plan and put into place the resources to complete a manual recount in the seven days. Palm is a typically screwed up county with judges and lawyer in charge who do not know how to plan. Broward is just crooked and Miami is a dummies disaster with the one guy on the board who from the beginning stated that there was no way to recount as resources were not in place. As an engineer I also know that as number go beyond fractions of a million all kinds of simple errors can occur by accident. Look at Broward where they left behind 500 votes. This is looking close to the number in the election. A manual recount of the scope of Palm and Broward and Miami are beyond the engineer technology of Counties run by lawyer and judges. For anyone who accepts on blind faith that a manual recount is not much more than a wing and a prayer in the sizes of Counties like Palm and Broward and Miami just demonstrates a total lack of engineering and scientific principles of testing, measurement and quality control. How can you have a valid hand recount in such a short period of time? Increase the number of hand counters. Better yet the county should implement a better voting system...hmmm maybe they prefer a voting system that is subject to interpretation as it is easier to manipulate the results. Actually time isn't the problem. You can't have a valid hand count if you count dimples as noted in the Illinois Supreme Court decision. The Illinois standard makes sense. The Broward county hand count is a joke. It is unfortunate that the some Florida counties do not have a trustworthy voting system....water under the bridge. Hopefully they will fix it before the next election. Zeuspaul
