Thanks, Rudi.
I hope Florida kicks all Gore-biased Democrats out of office in the next election.

I attended a Republican Rally today in Pensacola which will be the start of getting our military votes counted. Every Republican would have been proud to have been there.

Looks like the rally was not up to date on that issue. They should really follow the news better.

Unlike the democrats who have to bus in protestors to have a rally, this was started locally, and spread mostly through word of mouth.

Let's not forget the e:mail and paid GOP lobbyists

There were a few thousand people there, many with home made signs, and most of them carrying flags. The politicians were all local, including Rep. Scarborough.

That's the trick, don't forget the flag. David Duke and the KKK never leaves home without it; it adds credibility.

Three Retired Admirals were there and all said this was the first time they had ever spoken at a political rally, as they didn't think it was their place to speak out against the Pres., but they had all had enough. They were sick of Clinton treating the military like second class citizens, and now Gore continuing in the same way...by denying the military the right for their voices to be heard.

Besides being out of date on the issue...no one mentioned that only 1/3 of the contested absentee ballots were military...don't care about those I guess...and taking away their Tail Hook traditions, the gall!

The speakers said they didn't want lawyers coming from Boston, sent in practically before the votes were cast, telling the judges that Florida law wasn't valid.

They have something against Boston? Florida judges made the decision. Who makes the case is not very important, it's the judge. Are all the GOP lawyers local?

They were very angry with the media calling the state for Gore, when the people in the Panhandle hadn't cast their votes.

Where dey angry with the media...poor babies...what's the matter GOP voters didn't have the commitment to support their candidates in the voting place because of the news media?

Scarborough said Harris was elected by over four million Floridians, and the state of Florida didn't need lawyers coming from other states saying that she had no right to do what the people of Florida had elected her to do.

The Florida Supreme Court agreed with them, didn't they?

Many of the politicians said during the hippie liberal sixties, they were fighting in Viet Nam while the liberals were busy taking over the colleges, media, and the government. They said now it is time for the Republicans to take back our country.

That Nixon/Agnew team was a real liberal pair...<LOL>. While they where fighting the war and pillaging Buddhist temples and shipping the art treasures back in military cargo planes, smoking dope and shooting heroin; leaving little genetic samples behind [read American/Vietnamese babies]. Let's not forget Mai Lai....no soldier uniforms....heard up the women, children, and elderly and shoot 'em all. There must be a Viet Cong in there somewhere. The military men from the Heartland, kinda makes you proud.

They made fun of Liberman for calling flag waving Republicans a riot...One said, if he can't face a few Republicans waving the American flag, how could he come face to face with a third world leader?

I guess they didn't see the flag waving Republicans shoving the local police around.

Of course, it was also brought up that the democrats had to bring Daley down from Chicago to teach them what to do in an election.

Are you folks into guilt through genetic transmission these days?

The democrats will not know what hit them, they aren't ready for the Republicans to fight back and reclaim our country!

Standard GOP practices, lie big and lie all the time; wrap yourself in the American Flag and play the National Anthem. Nothing new. And I agree with you that it would make all Republicans proud.

We aren't the march-in-the-street types. Like most of you, I sit at this screen trying to make money in the markets, rather than storming City Hall. But whether America wins this round, or the Clinton/Gore Nazis do, I think it has become evident to a lot of true Americans that a movement is needed. Combine that realization with the continued rise of the internet, and the potential for organization is tremendous.

The first target should be the establishment media. No, we won't change their minds-but remember that they depend on sponsors to keep their jobs, and those sponsors don't take kindly to massive product boycotts organized over a free world-wide-web. The illegitimate Gore Administration, should it come to power, can also be undermined from right where you sit, if enough people are on the same page. I could make a list of desirable reforms, including a return to reasonable voting standards, academic accountability, communication with lawmakers, education as to the cause and its importance, etc. But, at the moment, keeping the common defense alive during this crisis takes priority. This thread seems to be an excellent forum, and a nice beginning.

Congratulations and hurrah to the protestors in South Florida. Never let 'em tell ya' it can't be done...

Glad you went, Rudi! and wish I could have been there too...And yes, I have a small American Flag in my car by the rear view mirror.....

There are those who can mock all they want, but I for one, see clearly for the first time that it is TIME to stand up and be counted...not with just money, but time, energy, and the willingness to know what is happening and why.

Did go to the small one we had here...Very grass roots, and yes, do need some help with organizing...Could be a whole new career for ole' Jesse....He's been teaching so many for so long, maybe the rest of us should take lessons.

Edit...funny coincidence....one I wrote today was 3366, and now this is 3377...itty bitty grubs on a VERY important board!
