"This is an attempt to vote for Al Gore," board member Suzanne
Gunzburger, a Democrat, said as she examined one ballot. "It is a very
clear attempt. And I believe there is light on the bottom when I hold
it this way."

Based on this logic, why even bother having voters show up?

You have perhaps noticed a high degree of literacy among the young or not-so-young of a rightest persuasion?

You are surely not implying that I am a liberal and approve of poor education? No, there must be some other point you are making.

In fact, I do not consider myself a liberal.

It would be fun to seek confirmation or its opposite of your implied association of the right with literacy on this very thread, but I just got an email saying there has been a, in caps, SIGNIFICANT change in our Christmas travel itinerary and I have to call expedia.com AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Ugggh, I am aghast and have to go now.
