It's very nice that you are an ivy league lawyer. I am very impressed.

My impression of the Supreme Court decision was not that they decide between two separate laws but between two paragraphs of the same law. One of the paragraphs said that Harris shall while the other one said she may certify the preliminary results by last saturday. The court took into consideration how long it would take to recount and other facts and decided in favor of the may part of the law.

I am not a lawyer or even a college graduate so I will not presume to know more about the law than you but there are many lawyers and others that have much the same view of the case as I do (including the 7 people on the Florida Supreme Court).

I did not go back and look at the 11 posts you referenced and I have no intentions of doing so. I have read every post on this thread since election day (except many of the cut and pastes of which many are garbage) and if any of them were going to change my view they have already done so.
