From what I have seen on Tv there are many many reasons that these rejected ballots were thrown out, the postmark issue was only one of them. If we would listen to the press we would think that Gore disallowed almost all of the military ballots all by himself. Fair enough. But don't you think it's a shame that the Commander in Chief does not have the moral authority to step in on behalf of his troops and find a fair, non-partisan settlement to this issue? Or that Gore, as second in command could not rise above partisian politics on behalf of these service people?
