"Citigroup and American Express are the bluest of blue, but why go this direction now"

Every year in December, I pick a basket of out of favor stocks and hold it for most of the year.....except this year. What timing. The names I had have skyrocketed. Shoulda woulda coulda. The basket usually represents about 20% of my portfolio. So the reason for going this way now is I always have done it, and C, Bac, and AXP are much better values than a year ago. I would expect them to appreciate solidly. Bac could outperform qcom over the next year...it's that cheap.

"What acquisition of Qualcomm's competes against Vicinity"

Qualcomm bought Snap Track early in the year.

snaptrack.com

Actually, it would seem to me that VCNT would be the appropriate enhancement to snap tracks position location technology, not competitive.

My mistake.
