Chris, No, I am not trying to start an argument. I believe/hope, that we can converse (and disagree) without arguing. The point I wanted to make is that many people in America are thinking more about God and spiritual matters than they ever have before. My point is proven out by the many books, shows, and other media that are completely spiritually driven and focused. The point is, what does this interest mean? From a Christian perspective, you could feel that this resurgence in interest is a good thing and that once the masses of people start thinking about spiritual matters, there is a good chance they will eventually turn towards Christianity. I believe that it means that most people aren't deeply satisfied and fullfilled by organized religion, and that they are looking for something that is more personal to them, something they can relate to and has meaning within themselves. I believe that spirituality will take a turn away from organized religion going forward, and that people will care more about love and tolerance than they do about dogma and ancient beliefs. One more thing. My belief about how things will or should be, is not meant to be a criticism of your beliefs. I can't say that strongly enough. I am not trying to talk you out of or into anything. I'm just explaining my point of view. Nothing more, nothing less. Mark
