Prolife: We drove 35 miles ... and guess what? They didn't have their Christmas trees out yet! So I guess we'll go back next week. Our house is late Victorian motif ... tons of antiques ... so we always look for a certain type of tree that's not always readily available ... tall and skinny. (They had 'em out last year at this time; guess we should have called first, huh?) We used to cut our own but it's too much trouble. Get pine sap all over your hands, saw blade breaks off when you're about halfway through, dog rolls in crap, etc. Anyway, while we were out and about, I picked up a bunch of German beer for Christmas. I'd rather pay a buck a bottle for good imported beer than spend $20 on a single bottle of wine.
