OK, thanks. I got some kinda poop on my shoes over that other place but I wiped it off.

I got fed up when one of the "other side" announced that Bush was to the right of Mussolini, who was to the right of David Duke. I think there might be a bar fight over there, and I already had my last bar fight.

I see you have a bouncer at the door here. Good. <VBG>

I had a wild idea today. What if Katherine Harris were to say tomorrow, "Sorry, I have no way to certify the election results. The Florida Supreme Court says I can't do what I thought the law was, and now I can't tell what the law is because the whole thing is up for grabs in the United States Supreme Court. Sorry, I can't honestly certify the election because I have no idea what the law is right now, and I don't want to disenfranchise anyone by misapplying the law, whatever it is."

It would be a totally honest and ethical solution to her current situation, yes?

This would do five things:

- get her out of trouble with the Gore attorneys that are already planning on crucifying her at the earliest moment.

- take her out of the media spotlight

- put the onus on the Florida State Legislature

- thwart Gore's plan to contest the election, since they can't contest anything until the certification process is over <G>

- allow the United States Supreme Court to make a ruling on this mess

I wonder if she will do it.
