Watson: I think it's about time to end this persecution of Zonkie. Perhaps you've watched too much cable news TV of the Repub rent-a-gangs terrorizing election workers in South Florida. Perhaps that is the reason.

Have you posted "false facts"? I think one could make a very strong case that, yes indeed, you have.

Post #87389: The misstatement: "Jesse Jackson always stings (sic) together works into ideas that make no sense at all."
If you had substituted "sometimes" for "always," or said "It is my opinion that ..." then you would have stated an opinion. But with "always" it becomes a misstatement, because I would be hard-pressed to remember an occasion when Rev. Jackson said something that made "no sense." Therefore, it is easy to see how Zonkie and others could infer that you were falsifying facts here.

Post #87341: Another misstatement: "These people (Democrats) turn out in mass to keep in power the powers that keep their children in economic bondage."
My kid 18-year-old son has more $$ than I do. If anyone is in economic bondage, it's me, not my kid!

Post #87264: "Lawyers and former Democrats are the only who speak for Sore." Just this past week I heard Nebraska Sen. Kerry speak out for Gore, as well as former Maine Sen. George Mitchell, and several "faces in the crowd" (common working men and women) where I live. In fact, I know of no "former Democrats" who have supported Gore in the Florida recount. If one is a "former Democrat," then one is probably for Bush or Nader, right?

I think the answer might lie in your taking more time with your posts and "fixing" some of these "statements of fact" by turning them into "opinions."

When I first came to the board I was a little high-strung, too. But several people on the other side of the aisle told me to relax, have a little fun, etc. Just remember there is nothing more worthless in your life right now than this board. It's 90% BS, 5% facts and 5% rumors.

Thanks. Looking forward to hearing from you more in the future.
