If rocks and dirt could vote, Bush would have this election hands down. But they don't; people do. Gore took the high-population density areas; because of that, he didn't have to take much real estate.

Gimme a break. A few square miles of Silicon Valley pay more to the Federal government than all the farmland in Iowa or Ohio. Oh, and remember farm subsidies? What is that but "Dem/Fed support money"?

Gosh I must be behind in the news, the last I heard Gore had carried the States by 300,000 votes.

By your reasoning Alaska would have more electoral votes that New York, Florida, and Illinois all put together. I don't think that is how it works.
