<<You already had an accurate count (acceptable) twice by machine. Two machine counts would be acceptable in every other state... being there is nothing evident to warrant a hand count, such as machine tampering, machine failure, etc.>>

We obviously have had neither an accurate nor acceptable count. I watched the manual process live for hours. I am positive that it is more accurate than machine count. With dozens of people watching it is clear there is ZERO fraud.
Only a few dimpled ballots have been counted, so even if hanging chads is the standard, it should be 90% clear that if the recount happened in Miami-Dade, GORE would be the winner. The only reason the Republicans want to stop the recount is because of this.

<<Precisely what is it that Bush did that makes you think he acted like an idiot, either directly or through his campaign associates?>>

Bush is:
A hypocrite
Indebted to big oil
In the pocket of the NRA
Against all environmental controls
Unwilling (IMO) to compromise on anything
In the pocket of the "Religious WRONG" when it comes to womens issues such as but not limmited to abortion

I simply can not stand Bush.
If he took the high ground on elections he could have been a hero. One of my most favorite quotes of all times goes back to the 1850's or so, Henry Clay "I would rather be right than President".

Bush "I would rather STEAL the presidency than let the clear will of the people decide".
