If Al Gore is elected based on this sort of thing, think about the scene on the Mall in Washington on Jan. 20.

Gore steps up to give a speech. The statue of President Lincoln cranes its neck to see, under the stirring quotations that adorn the inside of the Lincoln Memorial.

And at least a quarter million demonstrators drown out the speech with the chant, "Cheater! Cheater! Cheater!"

This is really sad.

I saw the same thing, TLC.
Made my hair stand on end.

If there is anyone who thinks the "hand counting"
of dimpled ballots is a way to discern voter
intent, they've been smoking something illegal.

I was truly aghast.
