The US Supreme Court is the closest thing the public can hope for as far as an unbiased opinion is concerned. I don't know which way they lean (I guess more of them were nominated by Republicans) or if they lean either way. When you become a member of the Supreme Court you don't ever have to worry about what anyone thinks of your opinions because you are appointed for life. This alone is supposed to guarantee their objectivity as they never have to worry about re-election.

If that guy Falano (sp) who is head of the legislature in Florida doesn't try and appear more non-partisian when/if he speaks in front of the SC he may hurt their case. I've seen him on Tv several times and it was apparent he was a Bush man all the way.

I hope Boies presents the arguments for Gore. Baker or Glock would be nice for Bush.
