I know practically nothing about reactor design. I do have a long lost friend who is an expert in the area and from the Navy side also.

Throw in some operating temp ranges on some of those alloys and I'll see what I can find out from my end if I can locate him.

Andrew, Looks like a good list of alloy choices, heh-heh. my buddy who works on the reactors is over in Italy right now chasing down spare parts.

When he gets back, I'll ask him the specific alloy(s) that wilt at a certain temperature...
