Lemon Head, As I mentioned in an earlier post, I checked out BestBuy earlier in the week to take a survey on card sales. The shelves are very thinly stocked. There was a small crowd at the digital camera display. There was a large crowd at the camcorder display. On the way out I went by the MP3 aisle. It was totally decimated. There were 4 players left. The remaining shelves were empty. Earlier this area was stocked with all the most popular players including brand names I never heard of before. One of the shelves was knocked off its stand and was leaning on top of the one below. All the SmartMedia and CompactFlash were totally sold out. The way I figure, if you have downloaded a couple gigabytes of music free on Napster you can probably afford a $200 player and a still feel comfortable ponying up for a memory card. Aus
