Scumbria, re:...you must want to throw out those 4500 absentee ballots

They weren't ballots. They were absentee ballot applications. The ballots themselves were (apparently) fine. Are you seriously proposing that the possibly illegal activities of these "Republican party operatives" should invalidate one's vote, even though valid?

The only difference the RPOs' involvement made was that some people received absentee ballots when they otherwise wouldn't have. In turn, they might have resubmitted (correct) applications. Or they might have cast their votes in person. Who can know?

RE:"I can just imagine your outrage at the Republicans bringing in out of state protestors to harrass the vote counters."

True, I was outraged by this but very happy to see Jesse Jackson...

RE:"Your objectivity is simply amazing."

Those were real ballots, had nothing to do with reading dimpled chads, assuming what the voters meant etc...

OTOH, Bush is now the certified winner in FL...after 4 counts of the vote...never the less, the Lawyers taught me a long time ago that laws are "elastic", so Sore Loserman fights on....
