Robbie: Newport Catholic really surged in the playoffs. They shocked Beechwood, 17-14, at Beechwood, then rolled over Bellevue. Both teams had beaten NewCath in the regular season. Do you who the most famous alumnus of NewCath is? Answer at the end of the column. In looking over the box score of the Penn State-UK game, Prince was 1 from 10 from the field; Bogans was 3 for 14 and Saul Smith was 3 for 8. The freshman, Daniels, played only 15 minutes but was 7 for 8 from the field. We got the wrong guys shooting the ball. It's as simple as that.
