Put the shoe on the other foot and one finds that
it doesn't fit. Bush has never been behind. Those
'last minute' 1,000 Gore votes would be tainted by
where they came from and by the selective areas recounted.
Read the polls...Bush has the high ground. IMO

That is a very intriguing question.

One I do not think the 'other side' has considered.

[You already know what I already think... It is my belief that the Republicans put things into motion prior to the election to help ensure their win. It is my belief that Bush is doing everything he can to prevent manual recount completion to keep (steal...retain...not allow to be changed... Take your pick.) the slim lead he has under the previous results.]
