Earlier Jeff and others were declaring that Big business will be the one to really benefit from the internet. Some notes follow, The Internet is the biggest transformational technology The Internet is made for big business Global distribution GE doesn't see any limits on how it can grow Internet gives GE the ability to act and think quickly Flexibility What I said in an earlier post But Bushes pro business attitude, will help the remergence of investment capital back into the co.s, that are building the information technology infrastructure, as well as, all the companies that make and provide services, that help others, make use of the 21 century infostructure. This build out, is providing many benefits to big business's bottom line, interms of improving opperating effiencies, new markets, capabilities, that give big business, opportunities to be more flexible, scalable and fast. Because of this infrastructure, big business can be bigger than before, but function with the flexibility of a small business. These 21 century technologys are strategically critical, to the ability of big business to make profits in the future, maybe the build out will be a little less visable for a while, but its definitely moving ahead with great dispatch, because the present and future demand is driving it. The next time the bull returns, if Bush is in the White House, its going to be a herd of great bull elaphant leading the charge, to upgrade the global infrastructure for the 21 century. This is a big job the world needs those elaphants even if they are republicans. Its all about making the world a better place. Connecting up the world has positive ramafications for democracy's around the world among other things.
