tie-in with MSN

This is in the magic zone for purchasers, and adds yet another wrinkle. I've long felt MSFT (MSN's parent) was a direct competitor to GMST, and the failure to have common standards was a serious blow to e-books in general. In terms of investable funds, MSFT is the gorilla.

MSFT's money could solve all of Henry's needs very quickly. I don't believe MSFT has a history with Murdoch, or Diller, but they do have a (bad) history with Hostetter and Malone, whose businesses are now part of AT&T's cable.
