Right, in fact I agreed with you right up til you used the phrase "4700 fraudulent ballots". Even if there were irregularities, even illegalities, that resulted in the delivery of those ballots to their respective voters, the votes cast represented the freely expressed wishes of those voters.

And while I am disgusted (though not "outraged" as Scumbria is - constantly) at what happened, I kind of wonder: is it so much worse than the various "get out the vote" efforts and "palm cards" used?

If it was illegal, let those responsible be prosecuted. But there were no fraudulent ballots to be cast out, even if they weren't secret. And surely you would agree, not all those votes were for Bush anyway.
