The Supreme Court decision will be final...unfortunately it will only be final with respect to the issue before them. Moreover, their final decision may amount to sending it back to a state court.

In an ideal scenario, if both camps, FL and Congressional legislatures could at least agree to allow the US Supreme Court to provide a blueprint to follow in a step by step fashion to resolve this whole thing, then at least we could simplify this snake pit. Unfortunately, SC decisions are rarely, if ever, that general in nature.

For all we know, there may be multiple SEPARATE issues before the Supreme Court before this is all over.
