No, because you are shorting it now, and if it goes to 30 and pulls back to 25, you haven't made squat overall.

That is where you are wrong. Allocation along with a sure conviction of the eventual conclusion can do amazing things.

However a move to the low 20's and back to the low teens is a lot more the likely optimistic picture, if not just straight down from here after a small bounce. Dont forget that the market looks into the future and Christmas is already virtually over.

And who said I was short? Thinking about it though.

I might add that with the market looking so nasty and likely going to continue in this general vein for a year or two more high end specialty retail is probably a rotten place to go. People will go back to watching their spending soon enough.

SHRP a one hit scooter wonder. The institutional side of the street looks at forward earnings compares. SHRP has no follow on act. Seen the corner Walgreens selling scooters for $39? No way can SHRP sell those jokes they have at $99 in size anymore. Remember, the dot.gone scooter boy is dead.

SHRP has a huge probability of trading to $6-8 over the next few weeks as the sell off in retailer stocks starts happening just like it does every year. And this year, due to the Naz fall off, the selling could be very sharp (no pun intended). Besides, Talheimer is a POS.
