Not an O&G company but has anyone noticed Peak Energy (Pes) on TSE. It has risen quite significantly in the last 2 weeks, up over 40% from $2.35 to $3.46 close today and as high as $3.60. I have owned this stock for a few years, buying anywhere from $3.30 in the early years to $.90 last year. There was nothing unusual in the earnings (and no real bounce when the earnings were released)but they like many other service companies were affected by the poor weather in the third quarter.

The volume has not been big each day in the last two weeks but certainly a significant increase over the normal volume in the past which has been very low. As a result I wondered if anything else was happening and if anyone had heard anything on the street.

Bodes well for the nfld players (e.g. vul.v).
