The grumbles about the P 4 remind me a lot about the grumbles when the PentiumPro first arrived. Who needs 32 bit code said the critics. Windows 3.x and DOS are what people use. Besides the Pentium processor runs business apps just about as fast as the PPro.

Some of these same critics decried the Win32 tests of Windows NT as not representing the business office. Anyone know of a business office that runs much 16 bit software today?
