Perhaps I am overprotective but I sure am not going to let a six year old ride around on a razor scooter in the store..nor a skateboard..nor roller skates..nor any other kind of contraption that could cause harm to the individual or the child...and that is exactly what is happening with the scooters...

if a woman can file a lawsuit because her hand was scratched at Wal mart during an all out fight for sale TV's on Friday..just exactly what do you think would happen when someone is knocked over by a kid runnning around on a scooter. Many of the stores have started locking them up.

To each his own but no kid of mine would be allowed to behave that way in a store. There all kinds of liablity issues associated with this item...and by the way..for those of you that let your child run wild in the store..you can be held accountable and liable for your childs behavior and actions in some circumstances.
