lawdog, get over it. what does FLA have to do with Texas? Of course he is going to fight it in FLA because the only counties that are being tallied by hand are Gore chosen counties. I suspect that there would not be as big an issue if th entire state was being counted. I also find it interesting that Gore is going to sue his biggest supporting county because they want to be fair in their count and then sue Dade because they refused to waste their time and ruin their holiday in a vain attempt to count over 640k votes by hand in 4 days. Gore is a whining scumbag that will stop at nothing to win this. tp

There are standards for counting such votes in TX. None in FL. The Broward Board of Canvassers admiited that each member used his own standard for counting dimpled chads. The PBC Board doesn't count dimpled chads at all. Its not right no matter how you spin it. The subjective element needs to be eliminated. JLA

A dimpled chad is only acceptable in Texas if both or all candidates request a manual recount and one would infer that both or all agree that the manual recount is more accurate using the rules for a manual recount. If both or all parties do not agree then no manual recount occurs and no dimpled ballots are counted.

I know democats want selective counts and selective use of that laws of a state to prove whatever.

The law clearly states' the preference applies only when (1) two or more parties are requesting the recount and (2) the parties requesting the recount note in their application for a recount pursuant to section 214.042-A difference in the type of recount requested.

Just another correction of wrong Boise the democrat spin.
