At this point, it appears that Gov Bush has a TKO <VBG>. Rest assured that the Gore challenge will continue. FWIW, I am not a democrat --- not yet anyway <G>! I agree with you and Carl that "dimple" is subject to debate. However, my viewpoint is dictated by reasonableness in the American pragmatic tradition. One cannot deny "undervote" is a phenomenon begging for investigation, especially in the backdrop of highly questionable voting machinery. However, my biggest beef right now is the possibility of intentional disruption of the recount process instigated by the GOP operatives [not to be confused with the GOP voters in general.] I mean, if they want to challenge the inclusion of "dimple" and "undervote" etc using the proper channel, fine, I am a 100% behind them. However, if any of the attempted sabotage allegations is true, then I reiterate my position I do not feel I want to associate with them. Unfortunately, while there is no hard evidence, there is some circumstantial evidence that they were engaging in such tactical maneuver. I may be bias b/c of my profession. Being a system personnel, it is not uncommon to see [not necessarily direct witness] projects falling apart due to covert efforts by unwilling personnels, you know, people who have never returned your phone call or people who have given you wrong information outright. Their aim is to destroy your project, whether they are conscious about it or not is another story. I see this kind of orchestrated protests the same way. If they cannot win by the rule of law, they want to win by the rule of mob. To be honest, this is always my pov, whether they are labor union fanatics, anti abortion fanatics or clueless fanatics mobbing Seattle earlier this year. To qualify to pov, I do not object protest and/or picket in general, but when they become too militant, I ve a problem. So, from the perspective, I admit that it can be rather subjective where the line is drawn :). best, Bosco
