perhaps florida voters by a tiny margin voted for bush. gore says they INTENDED to vote for him-but their expression of that intent was ambiguous, but can be read by loyal unintimidated local party hacks in miami-dade. voting
machines weren't greatest technology. this country is getting very tech savvy. palm beach faxed results to sec of state. so, could have faxed to her at home-if she has a home fax. so florida supreme court didn't have to say if office is open sunday. dem v-p candidate observes a sabbath that begins and ends around sundown. sunday is a sabbath- people go to church in morning. government and most businesses are closed sunday. strange florida supreme court didn't set monday, rather than possibility of sunday.
